Things to do with the Lawntrout

Its best to use a heavy (1x-3x)  short ( 6 foot) leader.
With heavy use the Lawn Trout may need to be brushed for maximum stickiness.
If using with a spincast reel you may have to put a little split shot on the line.
You may trim the fly to meet your specific conditions.
To give the fly more weight or if it comes apart, a staple or two will make the adjustment.


Things you can do with your Lawn Trout school kit:

• Give each student a Lawn Trout to practice with.
• Put each Lawn Trout on the casting lawn in different spots and practice how many casts it takes to catch each LawnTrout
• Put all 5 Lawn Trout in the center of the lawn and have teams of two on opposite sides of the LawnTrout. Cast for the most LawnTrout caught. Stealing is OK!
  
• Put small numbers on the LawnTrout to give them different values.
  
• Set up a golf course using the Lawn Trout as “holes”.   Least amount of casts win.
